PROGRAM

Q1. How do I apply for T.I.T.P. ?

A1. Applications are only invited when a fresh training batch is starting and in that specific job category only, with corresponding specific eligibility criterion. For this kindly check HI-NO-DE Home-Page regularly for new batch updates.

Q2. What level of Japanese certification is required for T.I.T.P. (program) ?

A2. Study of basic Japanese language (without certification) will be a part of the training for any job category, except for the Job category : ‘Care Worker’. However, in the Health Care Sector – ‘Care Worker’, Basic level-2 (N-4 of JLPT, or 4-Q of NAT) Japanese language certification is required.

Q3. What are the job responsibilities ?

A3. The job is purely institutional (no home visits) and details of job responsibilities are explained by HI-NO-DE during its orientation.

Q4. Is T.I.T.P a contractual program between the Employer and the Candidate ?

A4. As the nomenclature suggests, ‘Technical Intern Training Program’, it is an internship program.

Q5. Can I change my job Category in between the internship ?

A5. In principal, the candidate is not allowed to change the job category. However, during COVID the Japanese government had allowed this due to many factors including border and travel restrictions.

Q6. Is Medical check-up is required for this program ?

A6. Yes. The details shall be explained by HI-NO-DE during its orientation.

Q7. How long can I stay in Japan under T.I.T.P. ?

A7. Primarily, the T.I.T.P. is a 3 – 5 years program, with provision to extend visa in the new Specific Skilled Worker category in some job categories once the candidate qualifies as per the eligibility.

Q8. Can a candidate choose the Job location in Japan ?

A8. No.

Q9. After the completion of Internship, is the candidate allowed to stay in Japan without returning to India ?

A9. No.

Q10. In which part of Japan candidate shall be placed ?

A10. Placements can be in any part of Japan depending upon availability/openings with HI-NO-DE.

Q11. Is the candidate allowed to return to India anytime during the internship ?

A11. There is a procedure for this which shall be explained by HI-NO-DE during its orientation.

Q12. What if the candidate wants to quit before the completion of Internship ?

A12. No bond is signed from the candidate.

Q13. Will the candidate get job placement/s in India after the completion of the Internship ?

A13. The candidate who successfully completes the Internship in Japan will be given 100% job placement assistance in India in the same job profile.

Q14. Even after the departure from India, HI-NO-DE would be responsible of the candidate ?

A14. HI-NO-DE will be and shall remain the Sending Organization of the candidate throughout this program and shall be responsible of all such activities of the candidate as well as the Employer and Supervising Organization in accordance with the respective laws as well as features of this program.

Q15. What salary can the candidate expect in Japan ?

A15. The salary shall be vary from place of work, employer as well as job category. However, on an average monthly salary approx. INR (Indian Rupees) 1,00,000 – 1,25,000 can be expected across all job categories. Besides monthly salary, social security, medical, pension, over-time and night allowance are payable by the employer in addition.

Q16. How to go from T.I.T.P. to S.S.W. ?

A16. In the eligible job category, a candidate may change from T.I.T.P. to S.S.W. after completion of 3 years of internship under T.I.T.P.

Q17. How to know more about T.I.T.P. ?

Q18. Where can the candidate contact for any further query ?

A18. All queries are addressed through the details posted on HI-NO-DE home-page, and in addition to it at the home page of NSDC and OTIT. Q19. Can a candidate go to Japan under T.I.T.P more than once ?

A19. No.

TRAINING/S

Q20. When will the training start ?

A20. Fresh batch and start of its training/s shall be announced at the home-page of HI-NO-DE. Aspirant candidates should visit regularly home-page or follow HI-NO-DE on the facebook for getting regular updates.

Q21. What are the contents of the training ?

A21. The candidate will be trained in basic Japanese language, Japanese culture, business etiquettes, besides the related domain.

Q22. What is the duration of Training in India ?

A22. Duration of training depends upon job category. For Health-Care sector ‘Care Worker’ the training is approx. for 12 months. In other job categories the training is for about 4 months.

Q23. In case of physical Classroom training, where would it be provided ?

A23. At the discretion of HI-NO-DE. Training center for each job category as well as each batch may differ.

Q24. The trainers are Japanese or Indian ?

A24. All the instructors are native Japanese.

Q25. Accommodations are provided for pre-departure training in India ?

A25. Candidate shall make its own accommodations arrangement/s.

Q26. What if the candidate unable to cleared the exam during the Training ?

A26. In Health-Care sector – ‘Care Worker’ a candidate is required to be at-least Japanese level N-4, or 4-Q certified. Details shall be explained by HI-NO-DE in the orientation.

Q27. How would a candidate be selected for admission in HI-NO-DE T.I.T.P. (program) ?

A27. The selection process is absolutely merit based. After the candidate meets all the eligibility conditions, selection process shall be followed based on written exam and rounds of interviews, and orientation.

Q28. Post training in India, how would the candidate be interviewed by the employer ?

A28. The candidate’s placement interview may be conducted either virtually through Skype, Zoom, Google meet etc. Or the employer personally visiting India, as per the prevalent travel restrictions.

Q29. After the training is completed, will there be any selection round ?

A29. The candidate who successfully complete the training and JLPT shall be invited for placement interviews by HI-NO-DE.

Q30. Is it mandatory to clear N4 before going to Japan ?

A30. In the Health-Care sector – ‘Care Worker’, a candidate must be Japanese language N-4 certified.

Q31. Can a candidate join the training while working ?

A31. No. The training is full-time program.

Expenses

Q32. Will the candidate be paid any stipend in India during the training ?

A32. No stipend is paid during the training.

Q33. Is there any fee for the training? And how it must be paid ?

A33. Yes there is a fee for the training which depends upon the job category; requirement of training level/s, etc. among many factors. Details shall be explained by HI-NO-DE in its orientation.

Q34. How much the candidate will have to pay as visa fee, air tickets etc. besides the training cost ?

A34. Details shall be explained by HI-NO-DE in its orientation.

Q35. If the candidate travels to India in between, will the company provide the travel expenses ?

A35. Personal travel expenses shall be managed by the candidate.

STAYING IN JAPAN

Q36. Accommodations are provided during internship in Japan ?

A36. The accommodation will be provided by the employer/the Company, or allowance shall be paid in the salary to compensate it, as per the company policy of the employer and agreement with HI-NO-DE and the Supervising Organization.

Q37. The candidate can get Japanese citizenship after the Internship ?

A37 T.I.T.P. is internship program. However, in certain job categories which are eligible for S.S.W., candidate has the choice for permanent residency status after meeting the eligibility.

Q38. What would happen if a candidate is faced with prolonged absence from work due to medical requirement ?

A38. Candidate is throughout covered by medical insurance as well as social security cover.

Q39. How about the immigration and bank account opening formalities in Japan ?

A39. HI-NO-DE shall arrange or guide the candidate for the same. For opening of a bank account, candidate’s employer will provide all assistance.

Q40. The candidate will get medical insurance during my internship ?

A40. Yes, candidate is covered with medical insurance.

Q41. Is the candidate allowed to engage with any side, or part-time jobs during the internship ?

A41. No.

Q42. Where or whom to consult/contact for any query during internship in Japan ?

A42. The candidate can always contact HI-NO-DE for any query.

Q43. Where is the HI-NO-DE helpdesk in Japan ?

A43. Presently, in Tokyo, Japan. However, HI-NO-DE can be contacted through other means at all times.

Q44. Any restriction for the candidate during internship ?

A44. Candidate must abide by the Company rules, acceptable social norms of Japan and Laws of Japan while in Japan.

Q45. Any restriction in practice of religion in Japan ?

A45. No so far it doesn’t interfere in job or affects candidate’s general/normal working in the Company.

ELIGIBILITY

Q46. What is the required qualification/s in the Health-Care sector – ‘Care Worker’ ?

A46. Candidate should be a certified Nurse, holding either A.N.M., G.N.M. or B.Sc. Nursing degree from a recognized institute by the government of India.

Q47. Is there an upper age limit to enroll in the T.I.T.P. (program) of HI-NO-DE ?

A47. 27 yrs. (should be 27yrs or less as on the date of actual admission/enrollment)

Q48. What language aptitude is required for enrollment in the T.I.T.P. (program) of HI-NO-DE ?

A48. Good communication, written, reading skills in English besides good inter-personal skills.

ADMISSION/ENROLLMENT

Q49. What is the admission process ?

A49. Admissions to the program are through open entrance test and subsequent group and individual interviews followed by orientation/s and documentation check.

Q50. How will the entrance exam to be conducted ?

A50. The entrance exam will be conducted offline. The contents of the exam are G.K, Current Affairs, History, Culture and geography of both Japan and India.

Q51. What documents are required for enrollment in the Health-Care sector – ‘Care Worker’ of T.I.T.P. (program) of HI-NO-DE ?

A51. All documents in original –

  1. Age and address proof (Aadhaar card, Voter ID, Pan card).
  2. Valid Passport with at-least 3 years validity (candidates not holding one must apply within 1 month of admission/enrollment)
  3. Nursing certificate
  4. 02 recent (within 1 month from date of admission) color face photograph, along with jpeg
  5. Consent to HI-NO-DE terms and conditions
  6. any other document that HI-NO-DE may require.
