The Program & its Benefits

1. Technical Intern Training Program (T.I.T.P.) is a Government-to-Government program between India and Japan signed in October 2017 (the Program initially was started by Japan back in 1993) wherein eligible youths from India can be sent to Japan to get trained and at the same time intern in Japan, in Japanese organization/s, getting compensated with one of the highest remunerations in the world, and in various job categories (approx.. 85 at present) for a fixed period of 3 to 5 years.
2. The Program aims to train youth of India presently in 85 job categories through on-the-job (OJT) training in Japanese companies in Japan thus aims to promote cooperation between India and Japan through transfer of skills, technology and techniques.
3. The trainee is expected to utilize the skills acquired during the OJT back in India upon their return on completion of the Program.
